The Thin Blue Line Is A Metaphor For You

Poem based on 'Wonders of the Solar System: The Thin Blue Line (Ep. 3)
Thanks to cast / crew for the inspiration behind this (and for Coxy for flying up there for my eyes to meet the images)

The Thin Blue Line Is A Metaphor For You

You are like The Thin Blue Line,
like a blanket soothing me,
trapping the air I need to breathe,
flying high to the edge to see,
The Thin Blue Line

The astonishing Thin Blue Line,
a flimsy envelope of gas,
like crisps to a chicken madras,
a paradoxial entrance,
The Thin Blue Line

Your Thin Blue Line
avoids my skin from change,
protects me against radiate,
brings my eyes to grace,
The Thin Blue Line

This Thin Blue Line,
does not belong here,
like you, often disappears
is unafraid of fear,
This Thin Blue Line

The Thin Blue
only shows the truth,
inbetween the selected two,
This Thin Blue Line often reflects you
The Thin Blue Line is a metaphor for you.

Wonders of Chaos

An Acrostic poem influenced by ‘Wonders of the Solar System: Order out of Chaos (Ep 2)
Thanks to the cast and the crew for the inspiration!
Watch it on iPlayer, or buy it, it's fascinating!

Wonders of Chaos

We exist in magnificent isolation,
Off centre for creatures sailing above,
Nearly lost our nightly connection,
Due to over-material and commercials in love,
Even a place of astonishing beauty,
Romantic mountains, breathtaking complexity,
Still some refuse the obvious theory.

"Outstanding beauty and complexity"
Form will always remain entirely

Collapsing life, such a beautiful sight,
Hopping like a frog with dice,
Arriving like a Jerry with cheese,
Opens up like a heart made of geez(ers)
Saturns rings inspiring, saturns rings are dying,

[Saturns rings inspiring, your rings are dying]

"If you see stars, consult a paramedic"

Influenced by ‘Wonders of the Solar System: Empire of the Sun (Ep 1)
Thanks to the cast and the crew for the inspiration!
Watch it on iPlayer, it's fascinating

“If you see stars, consult a paramedic”

Leaps through the dark side of the moon,
Spreading love, joy, fear to all the world,
Showing our insecurities to all the girls,
Leaks to the atmosphere from me to you,
Collapsing over your own gravity,
What a beautiful image that creates in mind,
Forcing our vision and to think with our eyes,
Imagine how much power that all needs,
Seen through only a second eye, it floats,
We may feel it but it’s invisible to us –
they blow the nourishments into all of us,
Comes down to endlessly grab us by the throat,

The wonderful colours of the forest that shine upon,
A star was born and we named it the sun.
